Evening All!!! What have we here then? You are to be taken to the Cells of the “Old Nick” where you will be detained overnight for questioning and to assist in our (paranormal) investigations. You will be required to endure the darkness of the night whilst sharing your cell with the prisoners of decades passed. Will you feel the chill of the night as you reside in this most haunted of locations, now a theatre? Will you feel the spirits of Gainsboroughs Constabulary as you venture into the dark corridors? Or will you see a spectral Actor on the stage, running through his script of a performance of Ghostly entertainment?

Converted from a Victorian police station and courthouse, Gainsboroughs “Old Nick Theatre” is home to Ghosts and memories of a bygone era. Paranormal Activity, Hauntings and strange phenomena have been reported by its many visitors. Still boasting its original cells, (although now hidden from view, other than on ghost vigils) this enchanting theatre was once the arena for justice in Gainsborough.

A grade two listed building, the Theatre has winessed numerous unexplainable events. Objects have disappeared and turned up elsewhere. With moving Shadows and tense and heavy athmospheres felt, it is no surprise that some people have run out of the buiding in fear, never to return…
