Join the Scottish Ghost Nights team for a night of ghost hunting at Haunted Holmwood House in Glasgow. Take part in spooky experiments at this historic location.
Haunted Holmwood House
An angry ghost of a nun is said to stalk the house’s dining room since original artwork of naked pagan warriors was uncovered during its restoration. You will be joined by our team as they attempt to contact any other spirits who may also dwell here. You will take part in spooky experiments including Ouija Boards and séance. We have exclusive access of the building until the stroke of midnight.
History of Holmwood House
Holmwood is a family home like no other in Glasgow. Located in the Southside of the city, it is masterfully designed but surprisingly cosy; there is grand imagination behind it. Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson designed the house for paper magnate James Couper and his wife in 1857–8, and it is widely regarded as this Scottish architect’s finest domestic creation.
