Join the Scottish Ghost Nights team for a very special night of ghost hunting as we spend Halloween at Holmwood House in Glasgow. What better night of the year to test out it’s spooky goings on. A time when the spiritual veil is thin and we can reach out to the dead….
Halloween at Holmwood House
You will be joined by our medium David McCabe and the team as they attempt to contact the dead. You will take part in spooky experiments including Ouija Boards and séance. We have exclusive access of the building until the stroke of midnight when the veil of the spirit world will once again close. So get your spooky Halloween costumes on and try to contact the dead on this auspicious night. There will be a best dressed prize of a free ghost hunt!
History of Holmwood House
Holmwood is a family home like no other in Glasgow. Located in the Southside of the city, it is masterfully designed but surprisingly cosy; there is grand imagination behind it. Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson designed the house for paper magnate James Couper and his wife in 1857–8, and it is widely regarded as this Scottish architect’s finest domestic creation.
