Ghosts or Spirits as the are often called are said to be a manifestation of a deceased person. It is believed to be the spirit energy or soul of those that have passed over/died. People all over the world and all walks of life believe different things when it comes to what ghosts/spirits are and if they really do exist or are just part our imagination. Ghost stories have been told throughout the years and many places are said to be haunted by ghosts, good and bad.
The term orb is the popular name given to typically circular anomalies appearing in photographs. Orbs are often thought to be the spirits of people, and appear as "balls of light" floating or moving in the picture. Orbs can appear in colours, such as blue, red, etc. However orbs can be caused by flash reflection off walls, dust, moisture and even insects. Some orbs are definitely spirit energy. The problem arises as no one really knows what this energy is. Spirit orbs will normally have a more solid centre. Paranormal orbs have even been photographed with faces appearing within them - whether they are dust or spirit, it is for you to decide.
Residual energy is the term given to energy that seems to record past events. In alleged haunted locations this energy is said to keep playing over and over again and is believed to be the energy left by spirits with strong emotions at the time of their death.
This is where team members sit around a table with their hands lightly resting upon the table top. The group make sure that no other part of their bodies are touching the table. Silence is asked for, and when everyone is relaxed and quiet one person will ask out loud if there are any spirits present who would like to communicate using the table. We ask the spirits if they will use the table as a way of communicating by making it turn/tip and or by tapping/rapping on the table. We always ask specific questions e.g. are you a male? If the answer is yes please turn/tilt or tap the table once. We specify in which direction the table should be turned for "yes and no" and how many taps for "yes and no".
